About Dr. Vo
Dr. Michelle Vo is accepting patients into her solo pediatric psychiatry private practice located near downtown Salt Lake City. Since 2008, she has been practicing integrative pediatric mental health with medical subspecialty training in General Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Vo's strengths and specialized interests include early childhood mental health, developmental pediatric guidance, and trauma- and adversity-informed care. Centering her medical practice in a whole-human, whole-family approach to child health, Dr. Vo obtained additional training and certification in a number of psychotherapy and non-pharmacological modalities, including:
- Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for infants and toddlers
- Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT)
- Reiki Level 3 Attunement and Mastery
Dr. Vo holds gratitude for the families and students who trusted her with their care, from the University of Utah, Primary Children's Hospital, The Children's Center, and the Utah Division of Child and Family Services.
Dr. Vo maintains her medical board-certifications in General Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
